Vintage Glass and Brass Fall Porch Table

Welcome to Fall on the front porch table! I'm using a quilted runner in a great Fall color palette with vintage glass and brass pieces to create unique Fall table decor.

Are you looking for some Fall decorating inspiration? If so, you are in the right place! I’m so excited to participate in a Fall Porch Blog Hop today! Make sure you check out the links at the bottom to see a bunch of Fall porch inspiration from the other bloggers.

This whole Fall porch table was inspired by this amazing quilted table runner from Lavender Lamb Gifts on Etsy. I just loved its vibrant combination of oranges and purples. Gina's quilts are the kind of things that become heirlooms for your family.

My goal with this table was to let the quilted table runner be the star of the show, so I kept the other decor on the simpler side. I added thrifted brass candle holders. They are all different, but they look great in a grouping. I love the warmth brass brings to Fall decor. All of my brass candle holders have patina, and I like them that way, not too shiny.

My Tip: Always keep an eye out for brass pieces when you're thrifting, especially at garage sales. A lot of people have caught on to the returning popularity of brass, but not all. It's still possible to find them very cheaply.

For the centerpiece, I combined three glass bottles with natural elements to tie them together. I liked the glass for this because I didn't want to cover up too much of the runner. The green demijohn with the wicker cover was a yard sale find, as well as the beaded collar that I added to a glass bottle from Hobby Lobby.

The purple berries are pokeweed branches that have been growing all Summer at the edge of our woods. I told my husband not to mow it down, I had big plans for those berries for Fall, and this is it! I'm super proud of his restraint in not cutting those big beautiful weeds down!

Around the bottles, I tucked in my little brass quail family and a brass feather sculpture. They are all thrifted pieces that have become favorites.
For the place settings, I topped white plates with thrifted burnt orange napkins and vintage Indiana Glass Loganberry dishes. I love those pretty bowls and buy them every time I see them in thrift stores. So far I've found them in amber carnival glass, green, and clear.
I always love to add something seasonal to the chandelier above the porch table. This time I used this Fall willow leaf garland. I liked it because it wasn't the traditional oak leaves you usually see. (If that link says it's sold out, keep trying! It's worth it to wait for it to come back in stock. It comes compactly, but I bent the branches in different directions to give it a natural look and to make it fuller.

Over in the corner there, I added a pillow and throw to cozy up this chair. I found this cute little hedgehog recently at Hobby Lobby.
His addition was super cute, but also made this chair a little dangerous for sitting! I think it's worth it.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my Vintage Glass and Brass Fall Porch Table! If you're new around here from the blog hop, please feel free to poke around and get to know us and our renovation journey. Here are a few posts to start with:
